ABOUT ME

EXPERIENCE
I have been a counselor for fourteen years now and I have considered it a privilege to work with each and every client and family wherever they may be. I have extensive experience working with children (ages 7 and up), adolescents, adults, and families with anxiety (OCD, phobias, etc.), depression, life transitions, acculturation, gender identity, sexual identity, self-esteem, and neurodivergency. I specifically work with LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, and children of immigrants. I am trained in providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
ABOUT ME
I am here to support you in working towards realizing your hopes. I work to create a safe space for you while I work with you to support you in creating and building the life and relationships that you want. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families utilizing this belief system. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, warm, and direct. I am biracial (Mexican/white) and bring this perspective into therapy with me. I am neurodivergent and have specific learning disabilities which also give me an unique perspective.
In my non-counseling life, I enjoy doing art, hiking, dancing, and playing with my cats.
